Glazing makes all the difference in the world of pottery. This ginger jar with lid has been manually provided with a drop of glaze. With a very small stick and one by one, the decorative elements have been applied to the surface. After the second baking process, the jar has that glossy appearance which makes it so special. Especially in this turquoise glaze the eye catching effect is real!
Each jar is handmade and therefore slightly different, which makes it unique. In a kitchen or in a large compartment cupboard this piece of decoration will come into its own beautifully. The best of course is seeing its colour echoed in its surroundings, for instance a cushion, glassware or a coloured wall.
